Back to her other reality...

Taryn left EARLY this morning for snowy and cold Pennsylvania, refreshed and renewed, I hope, to her life as full-time student at GCC. We were glad to have her home for longer than a month to build and share new memories. Last night being her last, we enjoyed a competitive game of Bible Trivia/Guesstures/Pictionary(Howard's version), ooey-gooey cake (compliments of our resident guest) and tried to finish off the 850-page Inheritance novel we have faithfully been reading through while she was home. We almost did it but ended up 100 pages shy. We so hope she finds a ride home for Easter early April, otherwise, it will be a long four months before we see her again.

Last Thursday, Taryn and Paige went to the student opera showing of Madame Butterfly ($5 each, what a deal!) in the city with Paige's friends from school. It was an extra credit assignment for her aesthetics class. Although they hit a few obstacles on the way due to faulty GPS instructions, they managed to get there just in time for the show!
