After attending 9 summer family camps at Mt. Hermon Christian Conference Center in Santa Cruz, CA and spending six years as a day camper, Taryn's dream summer job would be to land a job as day camp counselor. She would love to give back a little of what the counselors poured into her when she was a kid. Applications for this summer's positions just came out yesterday and Taryn took the first step toward this dream by submitting her application last night! If you are reading this, could you pray that her submitted app would shine apart from the others and they would see her desire to serve the kids at day camp? Another step needed for this job is to take a CPR/First Aid class. Without knowing whether she will get the job or not, she has decided since she has the time and the class is being offered this Saturday, she is going to take this six-hour course. Either way, it is an opportunity to grow her skills and if she happens to get the job, she will be prepared!
